To add value to its growth, StreamWIDE Inc. is hiring a marketing and sales development manager. This person will be a key team member responsible for gathering market intelligence from prospective clients -- evaluating their platform, needs and competitive usage in order to take a full-cycle approach to communicating such client needs within sales and marketing. Reporting directly to the US head of sales and interacting strongly with corporate marketing director, he/she will be taking the lead on these following areas of responsibilities:
- Gather market intelligence to identify potential opportunities on new markets and/or new products by conducting high-level sales calls to middle/senior level executives to determine their needs and fit with company products.
- Understand products, competition, strengths and functionality in sufficient depth to qualify prospects by phone.
- Develop prospect profile and maintain a file using sales automation system.
- Work with Marketing to determine which market segments are producing the most qualified leads to assist with a go-to-market marketing strategy.
- Work with Marketing to develop collateral such as brochures, white papers, spec. sheets, email, according to the defined strategies.
- Training the sales staff on identified go-to-market strategies and products
- Development of functional demonstrations with product managers
- Support of sales team during sales and presales process, which may imply attending presentations and pitching at prospects
The marketing manager will work mainly on the North American territory (USA + Canada) but will also act selectively on Central and South American markets.
Already familiar with the telco industry and ideally with voice services, the marketing manager will show a deep level of understanding of both markets and products, as well as a natural ability to interact with sales forces.
Profile:
- Minimum 5 years experience in the telecommunications industry
- Sales/Marketing experience in a B to B high tech environment, if possible with telcos as customers. Engineering Background is a plus.
