The Oracle 10G/11G DBA is responsible for the deployment and administration of Oracle databases. As such, this position is integrated into the Support and Deployment department.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and define Oracle database systems
• Provide advice and support to project teams
• Install, configure, and deploy Oracle databases
• Perform integrations in the SAN/NAS environment
• Administer and support Level 2 operations
• Optimize database functions (audits and tuning)
• Manage database access security
• Ensure data integrity (maintenance, restoration, replication, backup, etc.)
• Supervise the optimization of the SQL Code
• Develop and document industrialization and administration scripts
• Set up and monitor the supervision of databases
• Write/edit operation procedures
• Follow-up on problems with the publisher, new versions, new options, etc.

Profile

• BS or MS in a related field of study.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience working on Oracle platforms under high availability, ideally in an operator or SIP Environment
• Fluent in French and English
• Ability to work in an international context
• Autonomous , Creative, Disciplined Team Player

  • Oracle Dataguard
  • Knowledge of SAN/NAS environment: IBM, NetApp
• OS: Linux Red-Hat Enterprise
• Languages:
  • Shell (scripting), SQL, PL/SQL
  • Database modeling (Merise, UML …)
• MySQL on Linux (+ replication)
• Strong analysis, autonomy and synthesis capabilities
• Open-minded and good interpersonal skills
• Skilled in managing projects and service providers
