Description:
The UI Team Supervisor is responsible for executing user interface designs as described by the StreamWIDE marketing department.
These designs are mobile, web, TV or telephony-based applications that will achieve the following objectives:
- Provide maximum level of ergonomics and usability
- Convey StreamWIDE graphical and corporate codes and concepts
- Position StreamWIDE as a leader and an innovator on his field
- Development of Web interfaces. (PHP, AJAX, Javascript)
- Page formatting in xHTML Strict and CSS2.
The UI Team Supervisor is able to work from a brief from Head of UI, but at the same time, will be able to act as an autonomous project leader, tackle innovation areas, study a competitive environment, test and understand new devices, and eventually come up with ideas and concrete proposals to create new user experiences. Work closely with the designer in headquarters and carry out StreamWIDE standard UI requirements strictly.
Reporting directly to the Software Development Manager and functionally reporting to Head of UI in France, he/she interacts closely with marketing and product development teams and is likely to interact also with sales and top management.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 1-2 years experience spent in multimedia agency, software editor or advanced website design team
- Proved past successes in designing consumer-oriented applications, whether on mobile, web, TV or electronic devices interfaces
- Focused on ergonomics and end-user experience
- Able to integrate within a software environment
- Fair understanding of latest web development technical environment and constraints
- Fair understanding of latest mobile development technical environment and constraints
- Autonomous with strong personality and creative thinking
- Team-player and capable of reappraisal
- Excellent knowledge of programming languages : PHP, Javascript (DOM, AJAX, ...)
- Excellent knowledge in Page formatting in xHTML Strict and CSS2
- Expertise in Linux platform (configuration of Apache, PHP, MySQL, installation of RPM, ...)
- Autonomous and rigorous behaviour
- Good level of English is imperative
Required Technical Background:
- All usual design tools: Photoshop / Illustrator / Indesign / Flash ….
- Linux Red Hat
- Source management tools: CVS or SVN
- Bug reporting tools: Bugzilla, Mantis, Trac
- Protocols: HTTP, JSON, XML-RPC…
- UML
English: Fluent written and spoken
